Iran Statistical Yearbook

"The Statistical Yearbook of Iran contains the latest statistical information available on economic, social and cultural areas of the country to meet the statistical data needs of the local decision makers, planners and researchers, as well as all other interested users. The Yearbook was first officially compiled in the year 1345 and has been released regularly.

The major sources of the Yearbook include: (a) the results of censuses and sample surveys conducted by the SCI, (b) the results of surveys conducted by other organizations, and (c) administrative data. Since population censuses are taken every 5 years and also some other censuses and surveys conducted by the SCI or other organizations are not taken at regular intervals, some of the Yearbook’s statistical items are not represented by a complete range of data..."
